Festive Toddler Snacks

Festive Toddler Snacks include healthy and fun holiday treats like Tortilla Christmas Trees, Rudolph Celery Sticks, and Strawberry Santa Hats, perfect for encouraging children to enjoy nutritious foods.

Ingredients

  • Tortilla Christmas Trees: - 1 wholemeal tortilla wrap- ¼ avocado- 4 cherry tomatoes, sliced- 1 slice cheese
  • Rudolph Celery Sticks:- 2 celery sticks- 1 tablespoon of smooth natural nut butter- 2 pretzels- Tips of 2 strawberries- 4 white chocolate chips
  • Santa Hats:- 3 strawberries- 1 tablespoon smooth ricotta- sprinkle of cinnamon-  ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

Directions

  1. Tortilla Christmas Trees:- Spread a thin layer of avocado on the tortilla wrap.- Using a Christmas tree cookie cutter, cut 3 Christmas trees.- Decorate with cherry tomatoes. Use a star cookie cutter to cut 3 stars in the cheese and place on top of the trees.
  2. Rudolph Celery Sticks:- Spread the nut butter across both celery sticks- Carefully break the pretzels in half and stick into the nut butter at the top of the celery stick to create antlers.- Place the chocolate chips as eyes and strawberry tips as the noses
  3. Strawberry Santa Hats:- Wash strawberries and pat dry. Cut the stalk ends off so strawberries sit flat. Slice across each strawberry about ⅓ of the way up (to create hat).- Place ricotta, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl and using a spoon, whip until combined and smooth. (Optional: place in a piping bag and snip off the end)- Either spoon or pipe the cream on each of the larger strawberry sections. Dip the ‘hats’ in the remaining cream and place on top.
