Poopie Porridge

Poopie Porridge is a fibre rich, baby friendly oatmeal made with prunes and pear puree, designed to help relieve constipation naturally.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp pitted prunes, chopped
  • 2x 25g Nourishing Bubs Pear cubes
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup instant oats
  • ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Soak prunes in boiling water for 20-30 mins until they are soft enough to mash.
  2. Blend or mash prunes with a bit of water until mushy or pureed (depending on bubs preferences and development).
  3. Add 2 Nourishing Bub pear purees cubes and water to a saucepan over low heat. Once defrosted, add oats, chia seeds and milk and stir until thickened.
  4. Take off heat and stir through prunes and cinnamon.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving to bub.
