Ingredients
1 egg
¼ cup milk of choice
Pinch of cinnamon
2 slices wholemeal bread
Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
1x 25g Nourishing Bubs Strawberry cube, defrosted
½ tablespoon chia seeds
To serve:
- Natural Greek Yoghurt
- Banana
Directions
Crack the egg in a shallow bowl and whisk together with milk and cinnamon.
Heat the olive oil in a frypan over medium heat.
One at a time, dip the bread into the egg mixture on both sides and allow the excess to run off before placing in the pan. Cook for ~2-3 mins on each side, until golden. Repeat with the other slice of bread.
To make the jam, add the Nourishing Bubs Strawberry cube and chia seeds to a small bowl. Microwave for 30-60 seconds and stir until it forms a thicker jam consistency.
To serve, cut the French toast into 3-4 strips. Serve with natural yoghurt and banana spears or your preferred fruit of choice.
