Who says pizza can’t be sweet? These delicious chocolate pizzas are a fun and nourishing treat that little ones will love helping to make (and eat!). Made with naturally sweet medjool dates, creamy peanut butter, and nutrient-rich cacao, this recipe is the perfect way to enjoy a chocolatey flavour—without any refined sugar.
It features medjool dates which are packed with fibre, vitamins, minerals as well long-lasting energy for all of bub’s adventures. The peanut butter in this recipe is rich in healthy fats for healthy brain development and heart health whilst the cacao is rich in iron and magnesium, both of which are vital for bub’s healthy growth and development.
Our star of the show is our sweet potato and pumpkin flatbreads! These are infused with beta-carotene which helps to keep little eyes and cells healthy. Finally, our fresh fruits add the final touch with strawberries rich in vitamin C to boost bub’s immunity and bananas bursting with potassium for healthy little muscles and nerves.

4 chocolate pizzas

These healthy chocolate pizzas are perfect as a weekend finger food or after-a-playful afternoon snack. Packed with fibre, hidden veggies and naturally sweetened with fruits, bub will love this yummy treat!
 
                  5-6 medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp of natural peanut butter
2 tbsp of cacao powder
4 x Mandy Sacher’s Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Flatbread
1 small banana, sliced
4 strawberries, sliced (not too thin as this can be a choking hazard)
optional: grated coconut to sprinkle on top
Soak dates for 15 mins in warm water to soften them.
In a food processor, add dates, peanut butter and cacao powder and process all ingredients until dates are smooth. Add a splash of water to blend if needed.
Microwave flatbreads for 30 seconds to defrost.
Spread chocolate mixture on the flatbreads using a spoon.
Add the banana and strawberry slices on top of the chocolate mixture.
Optional: Top off with grated coconut.
