Fruity Pancakes are a nutritious and tasty option for babies and toddlers, combining bananas, rolled oats, and fruit purees to provide essential nutrients, dietary fibre, and vitamins for healthy growth and digestion.

Ingredients

  • 2 overripe bananas
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp wholemeal flour (optional for a thicker pancake)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2x 25g Nourishing Bubs Pear, Plum, Strawberry or Apple Puree Cubes
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Using a fork, smash the bananas to a smooth puree consistency. Add the rolled oats, flour (optional) and cinnamon and stir to combine. Split the mixture into 2 bowls.
  2. Defrost 2 Nourishing Bubs fruit purees in 2 separate bowls. Add each puree to a separate bowl of banana pancake mixture. Add an egg into each bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Drizzle some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of pancake mixture to the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining pancake mixture.
  4. Serve with sugar free yoghurt and fruit
