The chicken nuggies provide high-quality protein and iron to support healthy growth, muscle development and sustained energy levels throughout the school day whilst the chickpea herby bites add plant-based protein and fibre, helping to support gut health and keep little tummies fuller for longer. The boiled egg adds an extra boost of protein, along with choline, an important nutrient for brain development and learning.
For a naturally sweet addition, the oat pear cookies are made with simple, nourishing ingredients. Rolled oats provide fibre and slow-release carbohydrates for steady energy, while banana and pear offer natural sweetness and antioxidants to support bub’s immunity.
Fresh cucumber slices add hydration and crunch, mango rolled in coconut offers healthy fats and vitamin C, and juicy nectarine pieces contribute fibre and antioxidants.

This thoughtfully balanced lunchbox includes protein, healthy fats, fibre and carbohydrates to fuel busy little learners, while also offering a variety of textures to help build oral motor skills. It’s practical for parents, enjoyable for toddlers and perfect for meal prep, with cookies that can be made ahead and stored for a week’s worth of lunchboxes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with a baking sheet.
Place the chicken nuggies and chickpea herby bites and bake for 10 mins.
Microwave pear cubes in 30 seconds increments.
To make the oat pear cookies, combine the pear, oats, banana, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a large bowl and mix. Scoop batter into baking moulds and bake for 10-12 mins at 180°C.
Assemble lunchbox with chicken nuggies, chickpea herby bites, boiled egg, oat pear cookies, cucumber, mango, nectarine and tomato sauce.
