BLW Plate - Tuna Pasta

BLW Plate - Tuna Pasta

This BLW Tuna Pasta Spirals recipe is a simple and nutritious meal, ideal for babies starting their baby-led weaning (BLW) journey. Spiral pasta provides essential carbohydrates for energy and is easy for little hands to grasp, while tuna is a rich source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, supporting brain development and overall growth. Extra virgin olive oil and grated Parmesan add healthy fats and calcium, enhancing flavour and nutrition. Paired with steamed broccoli and fresh strawberries, this dish introduces a variety of textures and flavours, encouraging sensory exploration and self-feeding skills. Adaptable for different ages, it supports motor skill development while offering a balanced, nutrient-dense meal.

  • 2 tablespoons tuna (half of a small can)

  4. Top with a small drizzle of EVO oil and the grated parmesan and stir through.
  5. Serve with large steamed broccoli florets and whole strawberries.
