Packed with oats, apple puree, and blueberries, this wholesome breakfast 'cake' is an ideal, nutrient-rich start to the day for babies and toddlers.

Ingredients
- 2x 25g Nourishing Bubs Apple cubes
- 1 cup oats
- 1 tbsp Nourishing Bubs Tree Nut Maintenance Mix
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup smooth natural peanut butter
- ½ cup plain natural yoghurt
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries (if bub is not yet 12 months, or has not progressed to whole blueberries yet, be sure to mash these with a fork before adding)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, defrost the apple cubes in the microwave until it reaches puree texture.
- Add all other ingredients except blueberries, and mix until well combined. Stir through half of the blueberries (mashed if bub is under 12 months).
- Pour batter into the lined baking tray and spread evenly. Top with the other half of blueberries and press into the mixture, using the back of a spoon.
- Bake for ~40-45mins until cooked through. Cool for 10 mins before slicing.
- Optional: To top, mix a tablespoon of yoghurt with a dash of milk to thin it out, and drizzle on top of the cake.
