Strawberry & Apricot Weet-Bix Bites
A snack rich in iron? Yes please!
These bites are made using Little Kids Weet-Bix which is fortified with iron (and while you will know if you have attended one of my webinars that fortified iron is not the most bioavailable, every little bit counts), although regular Weet-Bix will also do just fine. Dried Apricots are also a natural source of iron so the combination of the two, combined with vitamin C rich strawberries makes for a nice boost of iron in delicious bite size form.
These bites are suitable from ~9 months of age.
